My amazing friend Lilly captured these shots of me on my Grandfather’s farm this past weekend. I have been wanting a session with her for ages! She has an eye for capturing things others take for granted. I felt so comfy with her and I LOVE the outcome! These are just a sampling, more to come!

I have known Bridgett for over 7 years. I met her at a job that Jesse and I both worked at. She was one of the only positive things to come from that place! Anyway, it’s been a couple of years since I’ve seen her, but we make sure to keep in touch. She is such a happy and bubbly person and you can’t help but smile when you’re around her. She is engaged to the love of her life and they’re wedding is next Spring (stay tuned for those photos!). I had a lot of fun catching up and capturing some beautiful images of Bridge. I love ya lady!

Shauna and I first met a couple of years ago. Our husbands were both stationed at Fort Drum together and had just returned from a tour in Iraq. Shauna’s husband Kasey is currently deployed to Afghanistan. This lady is wonderful I must say! She is the roommate to my best friend Mike and like a mother hen to a handful of single soldiers. She is beautiful, smart, and funny. For the session, she was timid at first, but after a few shots…warmed up and began to have fun! Love ya so much lady!

In just a few days, my babies will turn one. I can still remember uncomfortably carrying them and the trip to the hospital for their delivery…
On Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 at 10:49am Ava Lilliana came into the world weighing 5 pounds 9 ounces followed by Liam Garrett weighing 5 pounds 9 ounces born at 10:50am, followed by Sophia Caty-Lauren weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces at 10:51am. All were perfect and beautiful! Miss Sophia had to spend only a couple of hours in the NICU because she had a small amount of fluid in her lungs. My husband Jesse and I stayed in the hospital for 4 days along with our babies and we all went home together. Life hasn’t been the same since! Everyone has fallen in love with our babies and are intrigued by their presence. It is so amazing to have them be apart of our lives.
Liam currently has 8 tiny teeth while his sisters still only have 2 each. All 3 are close to walking. Ava is our “Beany” and she is so sweet and cuddly (and the loudest). Liam is very handsome, shy, and sensitive…and always smiling. Miss Sophia is our “Monster Lady” and is the leader of the pack…she is very silly and loud.

This past weekend I had the chance to capture some shots of one of the greatest families I know. Jenn and Joe along with their children Molly and Maddox and Grammy Doris look like an ad for American Living. Little Maddie was not a fan of me and my camera and did not understand why I kept following him around showing him bugs and flowers:) Despite all that, the day turned out to be great and everyone had a good time. As always, my handsome photography assistant Gavin (aka my 8 y/o son) was along to offer me advice and some smiles for Maddie. The session took place at the Tile Museum on the corner of East Lake Road and 96A in Geneva.

Today the Hayes’ babies are wearing orange in support of little Owen. He was laid to rest yesterday. He and his family will always have a special place in our hearts.

This blog is about a mother to a set of triplets and an older son. She just lost one of her triplet babies this month. He was 6 months old. Her story is so inspiring and heart warming. She is such a brave woman. The amount of people I have come across that are lending support for baby Owen is truly amazing. It reminds me there is some good left in the world. If you have a chance, check this blog out..if you don’t walk away with tears in your eyes I would be surprised.
